Kappa Alpha Theta

Upsilon Chapter University of Minnesota

Being a part of an amazing sisterhood and attending social functions are some of the best parts of participating in Greek life! Every semester, we have several social events with other chapters in the Greek community on the University of Minnesota campus.

For formal every semester we go to a venue off-campus to have a night with food, dancing, and fun with our sisters. We also hold themed exchanges every semester with both fraternities and other sororities on campus. For the Fall 2014 semester, some of our events included a trip to The Water Park of America, game night, a late night trip to a corn maze, an outdoor movie night, and a murder mystery party.

Each spring we participate in Machi Days, which includes a dance competition, "battle of the bands", and other fun events throughout the week.  Fraternities and sororities are placed in pairings, which gives members the opportunity to foster friendships within the Greek community.
